Invenergy’s Orangeville project is a 94 MW wind and storage facility located in Wyoming County, New York that came online in 2014. In 2021, Invenergy co-located a 20 MW energy storage facility nearby.

Orangeville uses state-of-the-art battery technology to store and provide electricity to 38,000 New York households.

This project helps provide reliable power during extreme weather events to help keep the lights on in Wyoming County and provides low-cost, dispatchable electricity to homeowners and businesses. The facility can move up to 20 megawatts of electricity at a moment's notice. The site has also contributed more than $60,000 in investments to the local community through taxes and payments to the county, towns, school districts and local fire departments. In recognition of the project’s technical prowess, the Orangeville energy storage project received Energy Storage North America’s Innovation award and the Energy Storage Association’s Outstanding Industry Achievement award.
