Direct Pay Helps Solomon Church of Christ Fund Clean Energy Projects

Inflation Reduction Act tax credits are saving the Solomon Christ Church in Chambersburg, PA $100 per month.

Pastor Julia Brown at Solomon's United Church took initial interest in solar installation because it would improve the church's environmental stewardship. Time would reveal the decision was a major cost-saver, but the installation would not be possible without financial support.

Savings of roughly $100 a month have secured a safety net within the church's budget. This has strengthened Solomon's community garden mission and meal provision for elementary students whose families experience food insecurity.
