Form Energy’s West Virginia Factory Boosts Local Employment

Gov. Jim Justice announced today that Form Energy, Inc. (Form Energy) will partner with the State of West Virginia to build its first iron-air battery manufacturing facility on 55 acres of property in the northern panhandle of West Virginia, along the Ohio River, in the city of Weirton. The new battery manufacturing plant is expected to create a minimum of 750 new full-time jobs and will represent a total investment of up to $760 million.

Dominion Energy Powers Virginia with Offshore Wind Project

Our dedication to a clean environment continues to show in renewable energy initiatives such as our Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project. It will be only the second offshore wind project in the nation and the first owned by an electric utility company. When fully operational in 2026, CVOW will produce 2,600 megawatts of electricity, enough to power as many as 660,00 Virginia homes.
