Iowa City Electrifies Fleet with Direct Pay Initiative
Two vehicles were purchased as part of an ongoing effort to electrify the fleet. The dollars recouped through the Direct Pay provisions will go back into a fund to support these efforts, which include the electric vehicles for the police and fire departments in the coming years. Those projects will be supported by additional grant funding through the EECGB program.
