Located at the site of a former Mitsubishi automotive plant, Rivian’s factory employs over 7,400 workers, with plans to add over 550 more jobs by 2026. It is the 2nd largest employer in McLean County, behind only State Farm.

At approximately 300 megawatts, the complete Eldorado Solar project will generate enough electricity to power approximately 56,000 Illinois homes each year.
Producing 27.1 megawatts of electricity, this solar farm is the combination of four small-scale adjacent projects. The project provides low-cost electricity to the regional grid and bill credits to thousands of homes and small businesses in the area, helping cut electric bills for subscribers.
