Several of Utah’s heavy-duty vehicles will be replaced with zero-emission vehicles over the next several years thanks to a $60 million awarded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The Utah Department of Environmental Quality said its $60 million portion of the grant will be used to fund 171 zero-emission vehicles within the Beehive State. Of those vehicles, 120 will be school buses.
