Factorial Energy Opens Major Battery Facility in Methuen, MA

Factorial Energy opened its battery manufacturing facility in Methuen, MA in 2023. Factorial invested $50 million and at full capacity, the facility will create 150 local jobs.

The 200 MWh factory will be the largest solid-state battery assembly line in the U.S.

Thanks to the Manufacturing Production Tax Credit (45X), Factorial will build its solid-state battery cells here in the U.S., bolstering the domestic supply chain for critical minerals and batteries.
