Permascand USA, INC, a subsidiary of Permascand Top Holding AB (Permascand), is a technology-driven manufacturer of electrochemical solutions based on proprietary catalytic coatings for clean tech applications. The company has supplied electrodes, electrochemical cells and aftermarket services to a variety of sectors for more than 50 years. Permascand?s high performance electrodes in the value chain of green hydrogen will be key to reducing the levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) by lowering CAPEX and OPEX of hydrogen electrolyzers. This project expands our manufacturing footprint in the U.S. to include localized production of core components for the production of green hydrogen.
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released applicant self-disclosed information for 22 projects across 17 states that voluntarily shared with DOE that they received a total of nearly $1 billion in allocations from the Qualifying Advanced Energy Project Credit (48C). Nine of the self-disclosed projects indicated they are located in 48C energy communities – communities with closed coal mines or coal plants—showcasing the Biden Administration’s commitment to investing in America’s energy communities.
